Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning and Design from Rutgers University in 2011. Prior to graduating, he delved into residential design as an intern with Harmony Design Group in Northern New Jersey. In 2012, Ben joined Hess Landscape Architects, and has since focused his efforts on 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, and construction documentation.
Inspired by architectural design which removes superficial barriers between infrastructure and appearance, Ben perceives built form as a dynamic tool for articulating a sense of place within the landscape. His background experience balances agrarian principles with construction fundamentals, and allows him to act as a practical and innovative problem solver within the office dynamic.
