Sam Paulukas

Sam joined Hess Landscape Architects in the fall of 2016 after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. During her undergraduate studies, Sam took courses in mixed-use development design and large-scale urban planning.  Prior to graduating, Sam interned for a multi-disciplinary firm where she gained valuable experience designing institutions, commercial projects, and private residences.

Landscape Architecture has been an enduring interest of Sam’s, dating back to her introduction to the profession in middle school.  Growing up near the urban environment of Philadelphia, the city has always driven her inspiration as a designer, and pushed her to explore new approaches and possibilities.

Since joining H|LA Sam contributes to the development of projects through conceptual master planning, 3-D modelling, and construction documentation.
