The property’s spatial organization preserves the client’s desire of formality in the landscape. Interior -exterior relationships are hence reinforced through the garden’s structure. Terraced spaces form natural connecting nodes between the home’s delineated interior levels and the site’s natural, rolling topography and preserved tree canopy. All site elements are detailed to be reminiscent of the home’s French Country architectural style. By intentionally avoiding brash colors, the interplay of rich green hues and textures juxtaposed with the gleaming white architecture creates subtly warm, dignified spaces.
