Strong interconnecting forms link the programmatic components of this home’s landscape. The detached pool house and main residence are bridged by an arbor-covered terrace surrounded by thriving plants. The raised spa and vanishing edge pool are united by a spillway and rill of flowing water, providing audible and visual interest. Situated to view the broad western meadow beyond, the pool has a level raised platform intended for placing furniture into the water itself. Pool enclosure fencing, stone walls, and terrace paving were all chosen to integrate stylistically with the home.
