Matt graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Contracting, developing a foundation in both landscape design and construction. He began his career in the design-build industry, working on high-end residential projects throughout the Hamptons and North Shore of Long Island, before relocating to Pennsylvania to join Hess Landscape Architects in 2026.
Matt is passionate about creating spaces thoughtfully planned for people to enjoy. His construction background brings practical grounding to his design process, helping bridge concept and reality. For him, the most rewarding part is watching a design evolve from drawing to finished product—one that reflects the original vision and invites genuine use.
