MISS PLACED
Located on the bay, this project consists of three conjoined properties all designed with one cohesive vision: creating an entertainment oasis. Nautically-inspired details are incorporated throughout the property, but none more apparent than the custom Pool Boat Cabana that is integrally designed with the swimming pool. Born out of our client’s vision for a folly-like destination at the pool area, the boat cabana – ironically named “Miss Placed” – resides as the centerpiece of the rear yard. Interior pool benches and steps are located within to enhance the experience around the boat. Additionally, the pool’s lighting and plumbing are intended to replicate a functioning vessel. A custom, round, overflowing spa, tiled sun-shelf, and expansive pool terrace completes the pool area. The remaining property features a custom firepit space, shuffleboard court, grilling area, and water wall – making this a haven for entertainment. The landscape palette is comprised of species with seasonal interest and tolerance of the harsh maritime environment.
